The Legionarios del Trabajo, Inc. is a great fraternal order, which has had a splendid growth in the past because of the practical application of the needs of the time to the worthy endeavors that uplift mankind to the standard of citizenship, ideals of the home and devotion to God and country that will impel every Legionario to work with a deeper zeal and greater determination to spread its influence throughout the world until it becomes a dominant factor in shaping not only the individual but also its social relationship to the Filipino people, the American people and all the other peoples of the free world.

It is the duty of every L.D.T. member to abide by the rules and regulations, the sacred rituals, creeds and doctrines of the Order as the light of our duty and the rules of our conduct toward God, to our country and to humanity.

The L. D. T. is a non-sectarian and non-partisan organization: it teaches its members to bow, obey and fear God with reverence, the fundamental truth of Christian worship, and to build a divine temple of religious truths, and also the spiritual inheritance of man- morality and civil virtues. It does not meddle with sectarian creed and doctrines: and it is not against any religious Institution or the different organizations of the world.

The L. D. T. and its members always maintain their prestige by helping those who are in need, and pay contributions to their country (rehabilitation of the Philippines, the Mindanao Fund, the Liberty Wells Fund, etc.) and to the other organizations, such as the Red Cross, United Good Neighbors, Community Chest, Anti T.B. League, and to the community where every Legionario resides.

The members of the L. D. T. are active members of the community in which they happen to live. Part of their aspiration is the cultivation and promotion of the ideals of fraternal and civic responsibilities.
