Paris, April 7.

Government has received official intelligence that the differences which existed between France and the regency of Algiers since the elevation of the new Dey have been satisfactorily settled. The Genoese have been placed on the same footing as the French & Italians as friends. In consequence of this arrangement, 11 Genoese slaves have been liberated and have arrived safe at Marseilles. The happy issue of the negotiation has been entirely attributed to the exertions and firmness of M. Dubois Thainville, charge d'affaires of his majesty at Algiers, who, on this occasion has incurred imminent risks, from the open menaces of the Englishmen in that place.
