FIRST THRESHING REPORT ARRIVES FROM Along The SOO LINE.
Barley of a High Grade and Forty-one Bushels to the Acre Threshed Monday Afternoon.
The first reports of threshing in the state were received Monday afternoon when the Soo dispatchers received word that threshing was started near Lidgerwood and that the piece of barley that was threshed yielded 41 bushels to the acre. and also stated that the grade was high.
From now on the reports from the threshers will come in and will gradually come from nearer Bismarck.
There are still all indications that the crop will be one of the best in the history of the state.
