Maine Central Train Arrangements for Coming Year.
The winter schedule of the Maine Central railroad which goes into effect on Sunday night, October 11, at 7 o'clock, was announced yesterday morning.
The time and trains are practically the same as that of last year. The principal change is in the 7 o'clock train in the morning, which under the new schedule will make connection through to Foxcroft. This is the regular Bangor train.
The train which during the summer leaves this city at 11.05 o'clock in the forenoon will leave this winter at 10.25 o'clock. This train has connection through to St. John, N. B., Halifax, N. S., and all points east. The 12.40 o'clock train at noon will run through to Bar Harbor. This is the flyer. The 1.05 o'clock at noon will be the slower train to Bangor. The 5.10 o'clock train at night will run through to Rockland. The "midnight" for all points east on the main line, which during the summer has been leaving the city at 10.30 o'clock will under the new time table get away at 10.45 o'clock. The Farmington train will leave at 8.30. This will go by the way of Danville Junction and Lewiston.
The 12.65 o'clock train will run through to Skowhegan stopping at all intermediate stations of any size. There will be a 5.15 p. m. train to Lewiston and Auburn.
On the Mountain division the 8.50 o'clock train in the morning will connect through to Montreal, Chicago and all points west. The 1.20 o'clock at noon will run from Beecher Falls and the 6.05 o'clock at night will run as far as Bartlett.
Trains on this division will arrive from Bartlett at 8.25 a. m., Beecher Falls, etc., 11.55 a. m., and Montreal and the west at 7.45 o'clock at night.
On the main line trains will arrive at Waterville and way stations at 8.45 a. m.; Bangor, 12.15 p. m.; Waterville, 5.20 p. m.; St. John, N. B., Halifax, N. S., Bangor, etc., (Flying Yankee), 5.35 p. m.; Bangor, 1.05 a. m., and then again from all Provincial points, and stations on the main line at 4.25 o'clock in the morning. This is the so called Midnight Chimes or Sunrise Limited.
The trains on the Skowhegan and Lewiston branches will be run the same as last year, and the local trains will all be the same as last winter.
