In the Police Court yesterday Mollie McCarthy, John and Peter Boyle, drunks, forfeited their deposits. James Gildea's case of a like character was dismissed, and he will be sent to the County Hospital, being pretty generally broken up. Teresa Kelley, for having been drunk, was sent below for twenty-four hours. Charles Johnson and Timothy Burns, accused of drunkenness, were discharged to go to work. Frank Batus, who went to a restaurant and ordered more of a meal than he could pay for, was adjudged guilty of disturbing the restaurant man's peace, and was fined $2.50. John P. Cooper, Ed. Blakely and Wally Nolan were fined $5 each for disturbing the peace. The last two started down K street from a saloon Sunday night to go over into Yolo county and settle a dispute with their fists, but they did not get further than Huntington, Hopkins & Co.'s when the war commenced, and they were arrested.
