The Brussels Gazette informs us, that advice was brought to Paris, by a letter from Vannes of the 12th ult. that M. de St. Croix, when he sent the English Commodore a present of garden stuff in return for his wines, politely signified to him, that if the Ladies, whom he could discern on board the Admiral's ship viewing the place with telescopes, were desirous of having a nearer view of it, they might come ashore in perfect security; he would do his utmost to entertain them, and even make ball for them.
