THE GRASSHOPPER PLAGUE. - A Kansas lady writing to a friend in Chicago under date of April 19 says: I spent last Thursday at the farm, and I never saw so many grasshoppers in my life, they are very small, not a quarter of an inch in length; the planks around our flower-beds were completely covered with them, and it was impossible to walk without killing them. The rosebuds and all the plants were stripped of every leaf, and not a blade of grass was left; the wheat is completely ruined, and the chinch-bugs are waiting for the corn to come up.
