George Richard, 23, shot down over Germany on February 25, has been received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Richard at Centralia, Washington, and his sister, Miss Dixie Richard of Juneau. Miss Richard is manager of the newly established Sugar Bowl Fountain Lunch here.

A post card was mailed from a German prison center informing the family that he was being treated well and would write again soon.

The message was apparently written February 28, three days after the officer had been taken prisoner. but it was more than two months before it reached its destination.
