Fairport Student is Orchestra Leader

Springfield, O. - Even the busy college student finds time to pursue his favorite hobby. In the case of Earle McKeever of Fairport Harbor, it is to lead the Dorm League dance orchestra.

This group of 12 students was organized to appear in the recent "varsity night" to represent the Dorm League, an independent organization on the Wittenberg campus. Because of the spontaneous applause given the orchestra by the students at that time, McKeever has held the group together after their initial appearance.

"Duke" McKeever, a sophomore in the Wittenberg school of music and a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia fraternity and the Dorm League, is working toward the degree of bachelor of science in education, music supervision.
