Many of our subscribers greatly complain of NEWSPAPER BORROWERS.—
We know of many individuals, of ample means, who do not take the Free Press, but who, nevertheless, would as soon think of abstaining from breakfast every morning, as to be debarred from the privilege of reading it gratis. It is very common for some of our subscribers to hear the request: 'Let me have your paper a minute. I only want to look over it.' Suppose this should be met with a counter request, something like this: 'Let me have a loaf of bread a minute. I only want to eat it.' Where is the difference between the two?
