SPRING STORMS AND TORNADOES WREAK THEIR VENGEANCE IN STATES

MINNEAPOLIS, April 7, (P)-- Spring storms and tornadoes, violently whipping through parts of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa, late yesterday, killed 93, others missing are believed dead. There are more than one hundred in the hospitals, some severely injured they may not live.

The property damage can hardly be accurately estimated along the storm's path, but certainly runs into the hundreds of thousands.

North Minneapolis damage is fixed at one hundred thousand, while in the storms wake in the country sections it is strewn with wreckage of farms and buildings.

The storm formed over Lake Minnetonka, a summer resort, and wrecked many homes, tore its way through two Minnesota counties, and three in Wisconsin before it blew itself out. With little warning it broke over Minneapolis and in half an hour the Northern section was strewn with wreckage.
