Bethway Family Suffers Two More Deaths

PORT HURON, MICH., July 20, 1879. Two more, Clarence B. and family have died as the blaze killed five. Three yesterday. A sixth, Mary Lou, and one year old mother. Child burned in Port Huron General Hospital badly. The fire burned four year old child in the flat fire that hit the Bethway family down yesterday. Mary Lou and last eight year old daughters. June had leaped from the window. Is in serious condition at the hospital today. The family had 11 children in all. Only five are still left. It has stunned the tight-knit town of population of less than 4,000. Aid has started for Bethway family, without belongings retrieved by the fire. Overheated stove.
