Harry C. Huse,
state
director of
licenses,
was to be
called,
possibly
late in the afternoon, as a defense witness in the second mail fraud
trial of Clyde H. Walker and Jus-
tin N. Sheehy, which opened its
12th week in Judge N. C. Cush-
man’s federal district court Tues-
day.
Huse was to bring with him the original of a report, allegedly given him by K. H. Siasons, state license department auditor. The report is said to cover Siasons’ investigation of United Collieries mine, one of the companies Walker and Sheehy are charged with selling worthless stock by mail.
A duplicate, submitted by Walker and identified by Siasons as
a witness Tuesday,
was not allowed as an exhibit.
