NEW ORLEANS AS REUNION CITY.

Plan to Adopt it as Permanent Confederate Reunion City Viewed With Favor.

Jackson, June 29.-The proposal to adopt New Orleans as the permanent reunion city is meeting with much favor among the confederate veterans in Mississippi and many of the prominent leaders are giving their cordial approval to the plan. The veterans in this state are not taking kindly to the suggestion that the next reunion should be in St. Louis during the Exposition, fearing that they will not be able to secure desired accommodations on account of the general inflow of exposition visitors.
