LATEST FROM HAVANA.
Capt. Bell, of the schr. Eclipse, arrived yesterday, in 11 days from Havana, informs that the Spanish squadron, consisting of one 74, five or six frigates, and some smaller vessels, in all about 10 sail, under command of Com. Laborde, was to sail from Havana on Monday 28th ult. bound for Mexico.
It was rumored at Havana that an Embargo would be laid on all vessels lying at the Mole, on the next day after the Eclipse sailed, 28th August.
Havana was very healthy. The markets dull for American produce.
Captain Bell understood that an additional duty of $2 62 would be laid on Flour.
There was no U. S. vessels at Havana when the Eclipse sailed.
