THE conduct of the Young Federal Republicans of this town, in the political celebration of the birth-day of our Independence, the last year, did much honor to themselves, and was highly gratifying to their senior political friends. Filled with admiration at the boldness which asserted, and the firmness which maintained our Country's Liberties: their hearts glowed with noble ardor, to signalize their gratitude by orderly festivity and manly rejoicings. In numbers as well as conduct, we are happy to find them respectable.
The tendency of such associations, to nourish and strengthen the germ of patriotism already implanted; and excite in their minds a just sense of the value of liberty, will induce them to continue in the practice of these public festivities. Arrangements are making for this purpose; and it is hoped they will again unite and join the procession of their fathers to the forum of political exhortation on the 4th of July next, and thereby demonstrate, they joy in being pupils of the "Old School."
