Elks Lodge to Send "Rusty" McClure To Boys State
Word has been received by the St. Ignatius High School from Dr. Earl D. Coriell, Exalted Ruler of the Polson Elks Lodge that they will sponsor a boy from St. Ignatius to Boys State this year.
The Polson Lodge rotates their sponsorship among the different high schools in the county.
Russell McClure who was first alternate from St. Ignatius High School will now be the third delegate. Other delegates are Don Moran and David Strong sponsored by the American Legion and the Lions Club. Robert Farnell is the alternate.
Russell "Rusty" McClure is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William McClure Jr. During his three years of high school he has earned three letters in football, two in basketball and one in track. He is a member of the "M" Club, Student Council, Treasurer of the Junior Class and Vice President of the "M" Club.
