The Girard Estates.—The estate of the late Stephen Girard, now in possession of the city of Philadelphia, consists, in real property, within the limits of the city proper and the county, of 177 buildings; of which 39 are small houses, 77 large do., and 61 stores. The taxes and water rents on this property amount to about $25,000 yearly; to which an additional sum of $15,000 has been annually applied for making repairs and permanent improvements, for several years. The total amount of the income of the estates last year, was $106,000.—Phila. Bulletin.
