Unveiled

A close scrutiny and contemplation of the accompanying cut will aid in understanding and appreciating some of the mysteries and marvelous mechanism of the human body. Anatomy, physiology, intellectual science, phrenology and metaphysics, all teach us to realize that man is only a little lower than the angels, and that with almost boundless possibilities that call forth his majestic powers, he fathoms all secrets and dares to lift the veil that hides what yet shall be, and look into the great unknown, the mystery of mysteries.

He is indeed the climax of creation, the Apollo of the universe. He stands erect in his unfeigned dignity, and moves superb and august among all created beings.

Surely man's qualities and attributes are mysterious and wonderful, and challenge our earnest study and warmest admiration.
