Two West Point Cadets Dismissed and Six Suspended.
Washington, Aug. 24.—Adjutant General Ainsworth of the army today forwarded letters to Cadets William T. Rossell, jr., and Harry T. Weaver, the suspended first classmen of the military academy at West Point, informing them of their dismissal from the academy in pursuance of orders from the president and Secretary of War Wright. Adjutant General Ainsworth also sent letters to six third classmen, suspended from the academy for hazing, informing them that they had been suspended until June 15, 1909, when they will be ordered to return to the academy, unless they shall in the meantime resign.
