The organ at the corner of Main and Second streets, seems to have no stops for the reeds.
The pseudo-Republican paper and the new publication, a block west, seem to be in perfect harmony. The first contemptibly attacks one of the stock-holders of the latter, and it says not a word.
The old granny who once, by liberal advertising, collected eight (8) Democrats as an audience, and who now blossoms out as one of the six soreheads who fill the columns of the new publication, and an aspiring, but as yet, briefless lawyer, still have the court house spasm. Well, as it troubles no one outside of that office, they might as well be allowed to grind away at it. In the interest of the public, the Statesman has given all the facts. The public are satisfied with the court house, and the gentlemen who had it erected.
