Maurice McCusker, 24, Regina, Killed as Blowout Upsets Car Near Columbus
Columbus, N. D., May 25.-(R)- Maurice McCusker, 24, Regina, Sask., bridegroom of a month, was killed when the automobile he was driving went off the road and overturned on highway 5, two miles east of Columbus, about 10:30 p. m., Monday.

McCusker suffered a skull fracture. He died while border patrolmen were taking him and other members of the party to the hospital at Noonan. Mrs. McCusker escaped injury.
There were six persons in the car. One of them, Mrs. Ruby Todd, remained at the Noonan hospital Tuesday, suffering from severe bruises.
Dr. G. H. Hilts of Bowbells, Burke county coroner, and Sheriff Walter Gainor attributed the accident to a blowout in the left rear tire.
The group had spent the week-end in Minot.
