Full Text

Rather Fishy.

The Lewiston Teller complains because none of the papers in Eastern Washington either advocate or oppose the State Constitution. We do not know how it is with our cotemporaries. but the Union has more valuable fish to fry. Nor is there any necessity, so far as we can discover, for now discussing the Constitution.--W. T. Union.

Our neighbor's reason is rather fishy to say the least of it. There may be no necessity of early discussion, but a manifest propriety in so doing to early awaken the attention of the people to the merits and demerits of the contemplated new government.
