Full Text

Sept. 1. Last Sunday arrived the Tryton, Capt. Heatly, from Rotterdam, with about 80 or 90 French Protestants, that have escaped the Persecution carrying on in France, who were immediately taken Care of, and carried to Places prepared for them. They all made a very clean, decent Appearance, (although they had a very tedious Passage) and sung Psalms as they came up the River, to return Thanks to GOD for their Arriving at a Land of Safety. Most of them have been bred in the Silk Business, and therefore will be very useful and acceptable to this Kingdom.
