We have information of the result of the election for Representatives to the 19th Congress from several districts in the State of Kentucky, viz:
Henry Clay, is re-elected without opposition.
David Trimble, do.
Thomas Metcalfe, do. by a large majority.
James Johnson, vice J. T. Johnson declined.
Thomas P. Moore, by a large majority.
Charles A. Wickliffe, by a large majority.
Robert P. Henry and Mr. Lecompte, from the districts lately represented by Mr. White and Mr. Henry.
The two districts had been re-arranged so as to throw these two gentlemen into the same district: and Mr. White declined being a candidate.
Joseph Desha is elected Governor, and Robert M'Afee Lieutenant Governor of the State of Kentucky, for the next four years. Their term of service commences on the fourth Tuesday succeeding the day of the commencement of the General Election at which they were chosen, and both these offices are ineligible for the succeeding seven years after the expiration of the term for which they are elected.
