NOME, Alaska, July 6. - The cutter Northland returned here Thursday from St. Michael, with Col. O. F. Ohlson, General Manager of The Alaska Railroad; Robert Frothingham, of New York, and L. J. Palmer, of Fairbanks. The party was entertained by the Nome Chamber of Commerce. The party hopped off Friday in a plane piloted by E. E. Bennett who was to meet Ed Young, flier, at Ruby, where his load was to be transferred for Fairbanks. Bennett was then to continue into the Kuskokwim country to show Palmer the reindeer grazing grounds.
The plane will also fly to the Broad Pass country then to the Railroad Belt.
W. E. Fore and wife, of Juneau, were members of the Ohlson Party.
They did not return to Fairbanks on the plane but will remain here and travel by boat.
