It shall hereafter be the duty of railroad corporations chartered by this General Assembly, to furnish on their roads, to run with each passenger train, "baby cars." for the convenience of the traveling public. Said cars shall be well supplied with cradles, baby-jumpers, rattles, sugar candy, milk, paregoric, and other sedatives and conveniences. An experienced matron, with wet and dry nurses, shall always be in attendance. Babies shall be checked through, and parents shall have every attention paid to their comfort. In case of loss, the stockholders shall be individually liable to provide another as good in the place of the one lost.
