Kennedy Arrives in Seattle Early September

SEATTLE, (P) Sen. John Kennedy will arrive here either Sept. 2 or 3 for a 24-hour campaign visit, under plans announced Saturday.

Brock Adams, western Washington vice chairman of Kennedy's campaign, said "very likely" Kennedy's running mate Sen. Lyndon Johnson, will accompany the presidential candidate.

Adams said Kennedy will campaign in Alaska either before or after the Seattle stopover.

Kennedy's headquarters in the east announced previously that he would make only a brief stop here on his way from Hawaii to Alaska.
