CONFESSIONS OF A BRIDE
I wonder what my readers will think when I tell them that Ulysses is mine at last!
I can hardly breathe for excitement, his pipe and his garlic!
It is too wonderful.
Last night the preacher spoke the words that made us one. My husband was dreadfully nervous.
What a dirty look he gave the minister! It was just too funny.
This morning when I cooked breakfast Ulysses asked for two eggs—one for him, and one for his vest. I thought that he was joking, but he wasn't.
Hereafter I shall boil them twenty minutes.
Well, it is wonderful to be married. But my heart softens as I think of my last three husbands, and how lonely they must feel.
But such is life!
