Smilin' Bill Cissell Renders Satisfaction to Chicago Ball Fans

Chicago, April 13.-(P)-Smilin' Bill Cissell, the $123,000 White Sox Rookie shortstop, has rendered satisfaction plus so far to the skeptic Chicago fans.

In two games with Cleveland, the former Pacific coast league star has led the White Sox batting attack, bagging five hits in eight times at bat. In his nervousness in the first game, he pegged a wild throw to first after a beautiful one-handed stop.

"The kid's a comer and worth the money." Manager Ray Schalk observed.
