THE PUBLIC LIBRARY-
To see the amount of good that is being done by having a public library, one has only to visit the rooms on some Wednesday or Saturday afternoon.
It is an inspiring sight to see the interest taken by those coming in for books, and by those in charge in filling the wants of those who want books. The Library fills a distinct need in this community.
It is surprising to see the number of boys and girls, men and women who want something to read, both for study and recreation.
The Public Library should be better supported, so that its management could replace books and buy new volumes even on a small scale. If you have books on your shelves that you have read and enjoyed, donate them to the Library and give others enjoyment. Perhaps you have children's books and they are badly needed. A donation of any kind will be appreciated.
