PHILADELPHIA, MAY 29.

A little after 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, a fire commenced in Mr. Hart's private stable, back of his store in Third above Callowhill-street, from whence it spread with very great rapidity to his extensive tavern stables adjoining, which were entirely consumed. His two houses in St. John-street were very much injured. A large amount of goods belonging to Messrs. T. & W. H. Hart was destroyed, and their loss is estimated at $10,000.

The large range of stables of Mr. Conrad Weckerly, adjoining Mr. Hart's on the north, were also consumed. Five persons are believed to have been very seriously injured by the falling of a wall.
