The subaltern of the National Intelligencer, the Madisonian, tells 'Maryland' of money subscribed here by the office holders, and proprietors of the Globe, to try and corrupt your voters' We pronounce this to be an utter falsehood, as far as we are concerned, and believe it to be false of the office holders, unless it be the Federal office holders, (they ought to be permitted to hold office no longer.) who have contributed to the immense fund notoriously raised by the Whigs for the purpose of buying votes The remark, at the close of the same article, ascribed to the Attorney General we know to be equally false -Globe.
