Full Text

Mr. Bernard L. Green, C. E., a representative of an eastern company, arrived here last night and has gone out with Prof. W. K. Azbill to inspect the proposed railway. Every phase of the proposition will be taken up and examined by the expert with a view to a judgment as to the merits of the enterprise. This inspection is of the first importance to the local as well as other investors. If the judgment be favorable it is the understanding that a location survey of the extensions will be made and the proposition will be put into shape to close contracts for furnishing and constructing the road: if unfavorable the whole matter will be dropped.
