The County Convention met at Trimbello last Saturday. By reason-of a blunder in the Transcript, failing to notify the towns to elect delegates, the representation was not full. C. F. Horr, was chosen President, and C. P. Sargent, Secretary. Geo. A. DILL, O. T. MAXON. and Lute A. Taylor were elected delegates to the Assembly District Convention to be held at Dunville on the 11th inst.
The Republican County Club adjourned from Trimbello to meet at Diamond Bluff on Saturday, August 25th. By that time the hurrying labors of the harvest will be over, and local matters will begin to be interesting, and we hope to see a rousing gathering of the live Republicans of this county. Diamond Bluff has been claimed as the banner Democratic town of the county. Let's go down and make that old bluff echo with shouts for Honest Old Abe.
