POLK COUNTY RODEO
SET FOR MAR. 14-15

Lakeland -- The Imperial Polk County Rodeo will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15.

Performances will be presented at 2:30 P. M. Saturday and Sunday. The two-day celebration will be launched Saturday morning at 11:00 with a Giant Parade through Lakeland Streets. Several bands, including a military band and marching units and a host of floats will take part.

There will be special trick riding, calf roping and Bull-Dogging Acts. Cowhands have entered from as far as Texas. In addition to thrills and spills, the performances will be spiced with comedy.

Special guests at the Saturday afternoon performance will be children from the Rose Keller Home and The Florida Baptist Children's Home.
