Couple Start Building Home For Themselves

For many years, V. L. Gosney was a contractor in Steubenville, Ohio. Then he retired and came to Florida where he settled in Winter Garden. Now that he has purchased a homesite in Ridge Manor and sold his home in Winter Garden, he's back in the building business, having started construction of his own home on the corner of Towers St. and Old Road 50.

The Gosney home will be of concrete block construction. The Gosneys will have but one conventional bedroom, but when their children and friends arrive, they will convert a den as well as a Florida room into sleeping space.
