Ingenious Fraud —A few days ago, a fellow in New-York handed a thick letter to the Flushing stage driver, and requested him to deliver it in Flushing as directed, and added, "it contains money a part of which is for me ; and if I had money enough, I would go up with you in the stage."

"How much do you want," says the driver. "Two dollars," says the fellow. The driver handed him a ten dollar bill, and he went to get it changed, but did not return. The letter contained an old newspaper.—L. I. Star
