Full Text

Whaley and Todd Some Fishermen.
Returning last night from Rock Hill, where they attended the annual meeting of the State Commercial Secretaries Association, Secretary Porter A. Whaley of the Anderson Chamber of Commerce and Archie I. Todd brought two of the largest fresh water fish that have been seen in Anderson in many days. These gentlemen, who made the trip by auto, stopped yesterday afternoon near Pacolet, Spartanburg County, long enough to try their luck at angling. Scarcely had they touched ground before they landed two large German carp, one weighing 12 pounds and the other 6 1-2 pounds.
All of which indicates that the aroma of cooking fish will permeate the atmosphere in the vicinity of these gentlemen's domiciles for the next few days.
