Full Text

The catalogue of stock to be sold on the 26th at the first annual stock sale of the Giles Co., A., M., and L. S. Ass'n, has just been printed from the Citizen press. This is a matter of great importance to our people—the inauguration of annual sales which enables stock men to unload, and distributes thoroughbreds amongst the people, making a regular, reliable market that will do more to build up our stock interests than all other means at hand. The list is large and embraces some as pure bred stock of all kinds as can be gotten up anywhere. In fact, it is much better than was anticipated, and stock men are elated at the interest manifested, for it insures a good sale this year and the perpetuation of the Association. Capt. P. C. Kidd, the greatest auctioneer in the country, has accepted a call to cry the sale.
