Poplar Boy Scouts
Start Spring Out-
Door Activities

The Poplar Boy Scouts opened the spring season of outdoor activity with a noon meal cook-out and hike April 17. The boys worked on badge requirements for second class rank.

The scouts are continuing marksmanship practices while they are planning for the opening of the baseball season.

An overnight hike is planned for Saturday, May 1. The boys are also looking forward to the district camporee at Nashua on Porcupine Creek May 21 and 22.

All boys of the troop are now putting in their applications for Camp Metigoshe in July.
