The Persons who were taken up for being concerned in setting Fire to the Storehouses in Portsmouth Dockyard yesterday passed an Examination before the Secretaries of State. Sir John Fielding also attended, but Nothing farther has yet transpired.

Two of his Majesty's Messengers have been absent for upwards of a Fortnight, but it is not yet publickly known where, or upon what Business, they are gone; however, from their being accompanied by some of Sir John Fielding's Gang, it is imagined they are gone in Quest of some Persons concerned in the said Fire.

A mutual Offender, it is said, is to have his Pardon for discovering how, and by whom, the above Fire happened.
