MAYLOON PLAYERS WILL TRY "COMPANIONATE MARRIAGE"

Brought to Spokane for its second showing in the United States. "Companionate Marriage," a new comedy drama, will be the unusual feature at the Hippodrome theatre next week when the Maylon Players open in the new program which will replace the current farce, "Fair and Warmer."

E. L. Paul wrote this play, using the theme of Judge Lindsay's latest idea on domestic affairs. Probably there is no question today which is claiming so much attention from the press, pulpit and thinking people as the proposal of companionate and trial marriage.

The new Maylon offering will take no stand on this question but rather will play it out as a presentation of how impossible it is to apply such ideas to American life.

"Companionate Marriage" will bring Will Maylon back to the cast, supported by the entire company.

Promised as a play with nothing objectionable in word, lines or action to offend the usual Maylon clientele. Maylon's next production will at least add more variety to the wide range of offerings at the Hippodrome.
