NEBRASKA REPUBLICANS.

They Endorse Mr. Douglass' Letter and Welcome "The Age."

To the Editor of The New York Age:

The letter of that aged veteran, Frederick Douglass, to the colored voters of the State of New York, is the sentiments of the colored voters throughout the State of Nebraska. We hail The New York Age as the harbinger of better times for the colored Republicans in New York. The Age was not born too soon. It utters no uncertain sound. It voices sentiments of free speech, free soil, free labor, free men; it has nobly and defiantly unfurled its banner to the breeze, and all may read the acme of the principles of the Grand Old Party, that has stamped the eternal principles of liberty indelibly in the Constitution of our country—the Republican party. On the 5th of November, in this State, we shall again meet at the ballot-box the old foe Democracy, to contend for the right. The colored voters will be true to the principles of their fathers, liberty and equality, and cast their votes for the straight Republican ticket. I need not urge you to make an unrelenting war against Democracy, I know you will do it.
