Feb. 4. Thursday the 10th of January, arrived at Charles-Town in South-Carolina, Capt. Francis Pike, in six Weeks from Lisbon, [which Place he must have left the 28th or 29th of November.] and informed, That an Express had arrived at Lisbon a few Days before he sail'd, with a certain Account, that M. Conflans Squadron, consisting of 21 Ships of the Line and 4 Frigates, &c. had got out of Brest the 16th Day of November, and sailed for America: And that it was reported Admiral Boscawen had sailed from England the 10th Day of the same Month, with a very large Fleet.
