Full Text

PHILADELPHIA.

WEDNESDAY, October 23.

The malignant disorder that has so long raged in this city, is visibly moderating from day to day, and, where it exists, has assumed a mild appearance. The deaths at the hospital have greatly decreased, and the number of convalescents is becoming numerous.

With a continuance of cool weather there is every reason to presume, that the sickness will wholly disappear in a few days, and the intercourse between this and other cities, by stages, &c, be restored. People are now daily returning to their habitations—and we hear of none having taken any infection.
