I trust everyone had a nice Christmas. Some of the people went out-of-town. Millie Roughton and her family went to her home town in Tennessee. Sue Johnson and her family went to Indiana. On the whole, I think most of us stayed out of the cold and enjoyed Christmas at home with their families.
The department parties were all a success. Some units had pot luck, some went out for their parties but all had happy, cheery smiles. Everyone seemed pleased with their gifts from the exchanges, and all seemed to have that old fashioned Christmas spirit.
Millie Roughton received stuffed wolf for her gift exchange. She named it Eddie Jr. Were you surprised, Millie?
Does anybody want a good job? Coil feeding is available on the No. 3 automatic. If you aren't nervous at the beginning of the morning, you're berserk at the end of the day. Margaret Kilcorse and I are looking for any new applicants.
Were you girls on the lehr lonely for us girls in the manufacturing dept. We were sorry to hear that you had to work, but I'm sure you really didn't mind too much.
Well, here's hoping as the old year ends and the new year of 1961 begins, may everyone's troubles become smaller and their successes greater.
Happy New Year everyone!
