Notwithstanding the interpretation given by the court of France to Marshal Belleisle's letter, they write from Lipstadt, that the countries in Westphalia that have been taken from the King of Prussia are suddenly overwhelmed with distress by an ordinance just published, which refers to an order of Marshal Belleisle of the 10th of September. It enjoins all the woods belonging to his Prussian Majesty to be cut down: this deprives the people of all assistance either for building or firewood. coppice, as well as grown timber, being included in this devastation.
