BOARD OF TRADE MEETING.
There will be a meeting of the board of trade tonight for the purpose of determining whether or not that organization shall be perpetuated.
It seems that some of our people are too apathetic for their own good. As long as they are not taxed to defray the expenses of maintaining this important organization it is all right.
However, when they have to go down in their own pockets to meet urgent demands for public improvements it is all wrong. It is a shame to allow the board of trade to die. It has done much good for Ardmore and is just now in a position to do more if its members will arouse from their lethargic slumber and go about its perpetuation with a renewed determination. Go out tonight and do your duty as you see it.
