It is a fact that in the three great cities of New-York, Philadelphia, and Baltimore, almost all the papers in favour of the administration are conducted by foreigners; while those which support the true republican principles of Washington and Hamilton are uniformly in the hands of native Americans What kind of government must that be which is forced to employ the renegadoes of all nations, as auxiliaries, to bully and break down the spirit of liberty and independence among its own citizens?—Washington Federalist.
